We help our customers – organizations who are actively in mine planning for expansion or advancing an exploration project – to get the rock samples they need to make strategic decisions for the next step. Each drilling project we take on plays a key role in defining the future plans for operators and explorers.

This is why we are proud to be drillers! Yes, we thrive on remote locations and the challenge of the difficult drill site. But we are proud to participate in the creation of meaningful jobs and to play a key role in the responsible extraction of the natural resources which are so vital to our modern world.

Drilling is the only way to capture that data. Data tells the geologic story. It answers questions. It’s the one way to get the needed information to define available mineral resources: drilling to collect rock samples. The samples contain the data that becomes useful information.

Our name – First Drilling – represents the unification of three proven companies under one brand – Tarn Drilling of Denver, Colorado; Connors Drilling of Montrose, Colorado; and Sanderson Drilling of Western Australia.
